ORANGE GLAZED WILD SHRIMP
Chef Justin whips up some of the most delicious shrimp in the world caught right off the Florida coast.
Orange Glazed Wild Shrimp
Yield 4 servings
Ingredients
* 1lb Florida pink shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 2 cups Florida orange juice
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil
* 1 teaspoon soy sauce
* 2 tablespoons triple sec liqueur
* 1 teaspoon chopped jalapeño pepper
* Olive oil
* 1/2 cup flat-leaf parsley (for garnish)
Preparation
1. Cook Florida orange juice and triple sec in a pot until liquid has reduced to a very thick, honey like, consistency. Reduce by at least half.
2. Heat a large skillet on medium high. Add olive oil & sesame oil.
3. Add shrimp to skillet
4. Add jalapeño to shrimp
5. Cook shrimp approximately 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are opaque in the center.
6. Add orange juice & triple sec to shrimp.
7. Add soy sauce to shrimp.
8. Add parsley to shrimp
9. Serve immediately.
